BUSINESS IS BLOOMING – HALF DAY WORKSHOP

Have you entered into the world of floristry and feeling a little stuck or overwhelmed on how to proposition yourself in a saturated market? Perhaps you feel you need some tools or guidance on how to pitch to local venues or attract clients?

We have designed a 3 hour business focused workshop where we will take you through our learnings in floristry business over the last six years, including the mistakes we made and things we wish we knew sooner, to enable you to get the best start in your business as possible.

If you have recently completed a floristry course or have been trading for a short while as a florist and are not sure what to do next, this workshop will help direct you as we go through:

  • Your customer and pitching – including drafting email templates and building a database
  • Marketing and positioning – including an depth look at social media and how to utilise it
  • Generating wedding leads and bookings – you’ve booked your first few weddings? That’s great! We’ll guide you through how we work out deposit payments, create bespoke proposals and keep a spreadsheet so all information is easily at hand (the busier you get, the more useful this will become)
  • Pricing is one of the biggest bugbears for any new business and crucial to get right to maintain customer satisfaction and positive reviews. We’ll share our pricing strategy and breakdown how to cost some wedding examples of different scales, so you feel confident pricing jobs of all sizes knowing you’ll be left with enough profit to make it worthwhile.
  • The last 30 minutes of the workshop will be a ASK ME ANYTHING opportunity to get into the nitty gritty of business or to cover one of the topics above in more detail.

 

The goal is for you to leave confident and with more understanding of how to go about building a successful and profitable floristry business.

Hot and cold drinks will be provided as well as a printed booklet covering all of the areas we discussed for you to take home and revisit.

APRIL 7TH 10am to 1pm or 1pm to 4pm

JULY 9TH 10am to 1pm or 1pm to 4pm

OCTOBER 13TH 10am to 1pm or 1pm to 4pm
